Woodhask Ceasar Ediomu

Ceasar is a distinguished Certified Public Accountant (CPA) of Uganda. with over nine years of extensive experience in audit and assurance, tax consultancy, accounting, and financial management.

His expertise spans multiple industries, including insurance, banking, oil and gas, green energy, and the public sector, enabling him to provide both insightful and practical solutions to clients.

Prior to founding Woodhask, Ceasar honed his skills at FCK & Associates CPAs as an audit associate and later at Grant Thornton Uganda, where he advanced to the role of Audit Senior in the audit and assurance department over a span of more than five years.

In addition to his work with established firms, Ceasar has successfully guided startups through the critical stages of establishing operations, implementing controls, and designing operational manuals.

He also contributes his expertise as a non-executive director on various company boards, where he provides strategic advisory services. Currently, Caesar serves on the Public Practice Committee of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda, one of the institute's most strategic committees.

Ceasar is well-versed in tax matters, including tax planning, tax health checks, and representing clients at tax objection and appeals tribunals.

Tax Director

Opira Denis David

A tax consultant with over seven years experience in a busy tax consultancy environment.

Experience in areas of:

  • Tax Compliances – Handling monthly VAT, PAYE WHT, LED compliances. Bi- Annual Income Tax Compliances and Annual Income Tax Compliances
  • Handling tax audits – Liaising with URA  on behalf clients during audits, answering their queries
  • Offering tax opinion on complex tax matters – Dissecting complex tax matters 
  • Carrying out tax health checks – Reviewing financial records for compliances with tax laws and requirements
  • Customs post clearing audits – Liaise with URA on behalf clients during the audits 
  • Expert witness in tax mediation cases.

Prior to working in tax, ODD was an auditor for over five years where he rose to position of semi senior. He gained experience in auditing many sectors including manufacturing, construction, Agro processing, insurance and trading industry.

Judith Ahura

Judith is qualified accountant with a demonstrated history in accounting and outstanding performance in financial management. She has worked as an auditor with Woodhask for the last 3 years . Her expertise lies in providing assurance services for Companies. She also has experience in providing remote CFO services for companies seeking to minimize the cost of hiring highly-skilled professionals such as SMEs and start-ups. Prior to joining Woodhask she served as an accountant at Larissa Solutions.

Innocent Oyuku

Innocent Oyuku is a highly skilled professional with a robust background in audit, data analysis, and financial planning. As an Associate at Woodhask Certified Public Accountants, he specializes in audit and assurance, with a strong emphasis on data analysis. He excels in financial reporting and providing company assurance services, bringing valuable insights through meticulous data analysis. Additionally, he has experience delivering remote CFO services to help SMEs and start-ups optimize costs, prioritizing strong client relationships as an integral part of his approach.

Previously, Innocent served as a Field Data Analyst at D.light Design Limited Uganda, where he ensured compliance with company policies, analysed collection returns, and spearheaded productivity-driven initiatives. His responsibilities included conducting ROI checks, rewards computations, managing early risks, and developing monthly productivity strategies to boost team performance.
Innocent is currently pursuing an MBA at the University of East London and is a CPA candidate with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from Kyambogo University.

Martha Mutonyi

Mutonyi Martha, BBA, Accounting  

With hands-on experience in accounting and providing Remote CFO services, Martha has developed a solid foundation in financial management, budgeting, and strategic financial planning.

At Woodhask, She contributes to the company's financial health and strategic decision-making. her role  has equipped her with the skills to manage finances remotely, utilize advanced accounting software, and provide insightful financial advice to support business growth.

Walter Obonyo

Walter Obonyo N. is a dedicated professional with extensive expertise in audit, finance, and financial planning. As an Associate at Woodhask Certified Public Accountants, he specializes in audit and assurance, leveraging strong finance and accounting skills. He excels in financial reporting and remote CFO services, aiding SMEs and start-ups in cost optimization and fostering robust client relationships.

Previously, Obonyo was a Senior Audit Associate at FBO Certified Public Accountants, where he led audit engagements, improved internal controls, mentored junior staff, and achieved high client satisfaction. Before that, he served as an Accountant at Hairbyzziwa, managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and enhancing financial processes.

Obonyo is a CPA candidate with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Kyambogo University.
